presents!
this year i’ve been drawing a lot for holiday presents. i don’t have much extra cash to spare, and i hadn’t been drawing lately, so it makes perfect sense. draw gifts, as a way to save money and as a way to motivate me to get drawing again!
here is a silly drawing i made for daniel. he hung it in his studio. daniel has the tendency to be the person many people go to for advice. i guess because he’s a go-getter. he’s very self-motivated and self-organized, especially when it comes to pushing himself with his art. anyway, the common advice he always gives is to recognize your goal then simply take the necessary steps to achieve it. most people know what they want and know the various things they need to do to get what they want, but get weighed down by the work it takes to get there and end up not doing anything. anyway, it became a running joke that this is daniel’s motto. so i made him an inspirational poster.
